    Chinese official data published on Tuesday showed that the Chinese trade surplus with the United States decreased in 2019 by 8.5 percent to $ 296 billion.
    After the trade balance between China and the United States recorded a record surplus in favor of Beijing in 2018 amounting to 323.3 billion dollars, this surplus decreased in 2019 to 259.8 billion dollars last year, when the two countries exchanged punitive customs duties in the context of a fierce trade war between the largest Two economies in the world, according to "AFP".
    The administration removed China from the blacklist of countries manipulating the value of its currency against the US dollar.
    In its biannual report to Congress, the US Treasury announced that the value of the Chinese yuan has strengthened, and that China no longer manipulates the devaluation of its currency to boost its exports.
