    On Monday, the deputy of the Al-Fath Alliance, Ahmad Al-Kinani, affirmed that the Shiite blocs would achieve a majority during next Thursday's session to pass the government of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, despite the lack of support of the Sunni and Kurdish blocs.
    Kanani said in a statement to the "information", that "the Sunni and Kurdish blocs that are not supportive of Allawi's government will attend the session of granting confidence, but it will be prevented from voting."
    He added that "the Shiite blocs will achieve a majority during a session next Wednesday to pass the government of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, despite the lack of support for the Sunni and Kurdish blocs for him," noting that "members of the House of Representatives will see today the government program for Allawi for the purpose of studying to vote on it."
    And that "the alliance of the conquest is still supportive of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, as he did not yield to the pressure of political blocs."
