, President of the victory coalition, former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, on Wednesday put forward his vision to solve the government formation crisis.
Al-Abadi said, in a statement received by / Mawazine News / a copy of it: "We call on all parties for solidarity solutions out of the country, and the need to show wisdom and a spirit of compromise away from narrow interests, high ceilings and risk-taking."
He added: "To overcome the crisis of trust and the emptiness of authority, and based on our national responsibilities, we present the following initiative: -
The President of the Republic assigns an independent, efficient and strong personality to head the government within 15 days. -
Form a mini government to manage the transitional period, provided that it does not exceed one year from the date of its development. the responsibility.
The primary tasks of the government are to hold early and fair elections, with a UNAMI partnership, no later than 12/31/2020, to control security, to confine arms to the state, and to bring the perpetrators of the demonstrators and security forces to justice, and the neutrality of the national decision.
- The Prime Minister-designate is obliged to form a government away from the hateful party allocation, while preserving the representation of national societal diversity.
