Al-Zarfi nomination confuses alliances and clashes with Iran's axis in Iraq

Observers confirmed that the nomination of President Barham Saleh Adnan Al-Zarfi to form a new government contributed greatly to the confusion of the existing political alliances in Iraq.
Political sources said that three days after the nomination of the former governor of Najaf to head the government, there is no sign on the horizon indicating the end of the crisis, due to the escalation of rejection by prominent Shiite blocs.
The sources talked about efforts to replace Al-Zarfi and put up another settlement candidate, the former candidate Naim Al-Suhail, who Barham Saleh, the President of the Republic, would have been nominating if not for the emergence of differences between Shiite leaders in the last moments.
Those sources indicated that a meeting was held the night before last for the purpose of supporting the re-nomination of Suhail.
While Al-Zarfi began informal consultations with many political parties, his first concern seems, according to an Iraqi politician familiar, to open lines of communication through intermediaries with the parties that refuse to establish him, part of which belongs to the axis near Iran.
The source said, Al-Zarfi was surprised by this refusal, even though the deputies who attended his assignment belonged to various Shiite blocs, some of which belonged to the parties that rejected or reservations about him, given that Al-Zorfi was one of the candidates for the position a while ago and no one recorded his objection to him.
The knowledgeable politician affirmed that Al-Zrafi's speech after his assignment seemed natural, whether in terms of actions or undertakings to reverse the speech of his predecessor, who apologized, Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi, who was very sharp and yet his rejection was natural within the constitutional contexts in Parliament.
Although the victory coalition, led by Haider al-Abadi and to whom Zorfi belongs, said that the latter was the candidate of the President of the Republic after obtaining approval from many Shiite forces and representatives from various blocs, many other Shiite blocs seemed to reject his candidacy.
