On Tuesday, the Media and Communications Commission announced the value of contributions from telecommunications companies to support the Ministry of Health's efforts to confront Corona.
"Within the initiative launched by the Central Bank to counter the Corona virus, the authority donated a sum of (75) million dinars," Commission spokesman Hussein Zamel said in a statement reported by the official news agency "Waa" and viewed by "Al-Iqtisad News".
Zamel added that "The Asia Seal Company donated the amount of (750) million dinars, while Zain Company donated the amount himself," noting that "Cork Company donated (100) million dinars."
He continued that the aforementioned companies launched a free initiative that included extending the validity of the balance up to 14 days.
