    The Minister of Oil emphasized the depth of bilateral relations between Iraq and the Russian Federation, and the importance of increasing the volume of cooperation and developing it, in a way that serves the interest of the two friendly countries. This came during his meeting today in Moscow with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak. Oil Minister Ahsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail said that this visit comes at the invitation of the Russian Minister of Energy, in the context of strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the oil and energy sector, and discussing a number of joint cooperation files with Russian companies in developing oil and gas fields, as well as coordination and communication regarding the OPEC agreement.
