    An institution concerned with development and economy published, on Friday, (March 05, 2021) a table that includes a list of the prices of materials from 2016 to 2020, indicating that these materials witnessed a decrease in prices in those years. 
    Manar Al-Obeidi, the official of the Future Iraq Foundation, said in a report received by the IQ NEWS website  , "According to the Central Bureau of Statistics data, the basket of foodstuff prices decreased from 2016 to 2020 by 6.29%, bringing the total food basket to around 45,417 dinars in February 2020, after it was 48,463. Dinars in February 2016. "
    According to the report, "the lowest material is vegetable oil, with a decrease of 29%, bringing the price of one liter to 1542 dinars, after it was in February 2016 at a price of 2,188 dinars. Also, lentils decreased by 29%, sugar by 25%, and white flour by 21%."
    As for the items that witnessed an increase, they were, according to the report, "chicken and eggs only and potatoes."
     The table below shows a list of material prices from 2016 to 2020  .
