    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

Iranian Minister of Economy and Financial Affairs Farhad Djebsand announced that Iran will obtain its right regarding its frozen assets inside Iraq. This may be reflected in the re-releases of exported gas to Iraq, which solves the issue of poor electrical power supply in the country in conjunction with the approaching summer season.

In a press statement, Djibsand said that on the sidelines of his meeting with business leaders and industry owners, it was decided in this regard that the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran would issue accurate and documented information on the release of frozen Iranian financial assets inside Iraq.

He stressed, saying: Iran will obtain its right with regard to its frozen assets inside Iraq, and these unreasonable pressures will be reduced; Hopefully, the aforementioned sums will be employed in the context of facilitating economic activities inside the country.

22 thousand megawatts are waiting for Iranian gas
Earlier, the Ministry of Electricity suggested that energy production would reach 22,000 megawatts during the coming summer in the event that the Iranian side releases gas.

Ministry spokesman Ahmed Musa Al-Abadi said, in a statement to the official agency, that "there is a large number of work to carry out maintenance, including periodic and urgent work to maintain the work of the production stations and complete the maintenance with the approach of the summer season," indicating that "it is expected that the target production for this year will reach during the season. Summer to 22 thousand megawatts. ”

And he indicated that "last summer the production reached 19 thousand megawatts," pointing out that "the ministry is seeking in the current production before the summer to reach 22 thousand megawatts in the event that the Iranian side releases gas, as there is a decline in the release of Iranian gas."

And he went on to say that "generating plants will be introduced in the fourth month to reach a production rate of 22 thousand megawatts before the summer, and this will positively affect the energy situation."

He stressed the work on "the resumption of Iranian gas flow to reach 22 thousand megawatts, in addition to the completion of periodic maintenance, as there are generating units that will enter service at the end of the fourth month."

And he indicated that "processing hours will not be equal in the governorates and is determined by the size of violations on the network," stressing that "this depends on several factors, including the commitment of citizens and the non-overrun, as well as the volume of consumption in addition to other factors such as damage to the transformers in the network."

He pointed out that "the ministry has contracts with government companies and the private sector to import transformers, from which a first batch has arrived, and there are other payments that will arrive, but it is not possible to predict the processing hours for the coming summer."
