Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, warned, on Tuesday, of the danger of mortgaging the future of Sinjar to political wills and conflicts, stressing that some of these wills drive instability of the judiciary.
[size=15]During his meeting on March 7, 2021, Al-Kaabi called on "a Yazidi delegation from Sinjar district, the government to impose security and stability in the judiciary by handing over the security file to the federal government, and for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces to directly supervise this file ."[/size]
[size=15]He said that "Sinjar is part of the body of the Iraqi state, and prosthetic solutions to the existing problems cannot be accepted," calling at the same time "the need to start a major campaign to rebuild it as soon as possible ."[/size]
[size=15]For its part, the Yazidi delegation appreciated the role of "the parliament in general, and the first deputy in particular, for the great efforts they made in order to pass the Yazidi Women Survivors Law, for its importance in providing fairness to the components that were displaced, suffered and persecuted during the control of ISIS terrorist gangs on their areas ."[/size]
