    Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi discussed today, Sunday, with a delegation that included a number of representatives of the civil movement, the draft law of the Federal Supreme Court, and the need to complete the legislative requirements necessary to proceed with early elections.
    The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives said, in a statement that “Progress” received a copy of it, that “Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi received today, Sunday, a delegation that included a number of representatives of the civil movement,” indicating that “the meeting discussed developments in the political situation in the country and early elections. And creating the necessary conditions for conducting elections that enhance citizen’s confidence in their results and express their aspirations.
    The statement added, "During the meeting, discussions were held on the draft law of the Federal Supreme Court, and the need to complete the legislative requirements necessary to proceed with early elections."
