The MP for the rule of law, Kata Al-Rikabi, suggested, on Tuesday, the possibility of the coalition president Nouri al-Maliki running for the post of prime minister, and while denying the existence of personal hostility between al-Sadr and al-Maliki, he revealed a "scenario" that might postpone the elections to April 2022.

Al-Rikabi said during the "Game of Chairs" program presented by colleague "Hisham Ali" and followed by "People" (April 6, 2021) that "the Central Bank has its official association with the House of Representatives, and it is administratively independent only." "The agreement of all political blocs on the exchange rate of the dollar is inaccurate. The state of law, the National Approach bloc, and some members of Al-Fateh were against."
Regarding the disagreement with the Al-Fateh Alliance, Al-Rikabi said, "We are brothers with Al-Fateh. We may meet and we may disagree on some matters. They see that passing the budget in this way has an interest, and we see that the form in which I passed does not have an interest for the people," indicating that "the representative of the state of law In the Finance Committee, he withdrew and then returned to follow what was happening, so that we would not lose our vote in the committee and have a say in the budget.
Al-Rikabi revealed that "the state of law submitted an appeal to the Federal Court against a number of budget articles, including the currency price and the article on selling state assets, in addition to other materials."
Regarding the return of the members of the Popular Mobilization Authority whose contracts have been canceled within the budget law, Al-Rikabi said: "The issue of those whose contracts were canceled was not mentioned in the budget, while the amount allocated to the Hashd Authority was mentioned and the Commission is free to dispose of these funds by increasing salaries or by returning those whose contracts have been abrogated, meaning that the budget of the crowd is to be determined. The number that will be returned, "stressing that" 30 thousand members cannot be returned, but they will be returned as much as the authority needs, perhaps 15 thousand of them. "
Al-Rikabi added that "the state of law is impossible to remain outside the arc in the political map, and that the last-minute negotiations may have big surprises," explaining that "Al-Maliki does not aspire to prime minister, but if that is in the interest of the country, there is nothing wrong."
Regarding Al-Maliki’s relationship with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, Al-Rikabi said, "There is no enmity between Al-Sadr and Al-Maliki.
Al-Rikabi favored the possibility of postponing the elections, according to a scenario he talked about, saying: "The provincial councils have submitted a complaint to the Federal Court about the decision to dissolve it, and it is possible that the court accepts this complaint and the councils are returned, and in the event of their return, the Commission will decide to hold parliamentary elections and local governments at the same time, but on a date." It may be in April 2022, and the commission is currently thinking about this, because the Iraqi economic situation does not bear the holding of local and parliamentary elections independently.

I cannot understand why he is still here after all he has done. Where is the anti-coruption squad to get him and send him to jail for life.
