The Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, without prior notice, demanding the owners of the shops for amounts of up to 5 million dinars, under the pretext of issuing an identity card for the workers or allowing them to hang their billboards, caused many to be confused about their order.

Some shop owners exploded in anger, and others were forced to shut down their livelihoods due to their inability to pay those money, especially since the commercial movement mourns its worst conditions due to the insane rise in prices.
