The European Union supports Iraq's ability to manage borders
With support from the European Union, the International Organization for Migration and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime have partnered to support the Government of Iraq in developing its border management capacity in Iraq. The joint project, “Strengthening the Capacity of the Iraqi Government at the Trebil Border Crossing,” will focus on improving security and the cross-border movement of people and goods, while stimulating cross-border trade and the local economy.
