    According to a statement received by the Euphrates News, the Commission’s Investigation Department stated that “the accused, along with other accused persons, went to the Nineveh Investigation Directorate, assuming the status of the Prime Minister’s advisor, and presenting an unclear and expired identification (Baj) identity, allegedly issued by a party bearing the The designation of "the Presidency of the Cabinet of Ministers", indicating that "the accused intended to review the Directorate in this capacity, which was impersonated, to inquire about a case under investigation."
    The department continued, "its contact with the Prime Minister's Office and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to inquire and request investigation and scrutiny of their own database about the validity of the accused's claim." 
    It indicated that "the response of the Prime Minister's Office and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers was to deny the accused's association with them, as well as the absence of a department called" the Presidency of the Cabinet of Ministers. "
    She explained that “a fundamentalist seizure report of the seized exhibits in the operation, which was carried out based on a judicial arrest warrant, was presented with the accused to the judge of the Nineveh Investigation Court, which is specialized in issues of integrity, who decided to arrest them, based on the provisions of Articles (289 and 298) of the Penal Code, in addition to a referral.
