    On Friday (April 30, 2021), Iran's ambassador in Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi, confirmed that the Iraqi Minister of Electricity's visit to Iran comes to discuss the issue of accelerating the payment of Iraqi debts.
    Masjedi said in a tweet on Twitter, followed by  IQ NEWS , that "the upcoming visit of Mr. Majid Hantoush, the Iraqi Minister of Electricity, to Tehran, is in line with the cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy and speeding up the payment of Iranian financial claims.
    Last Wednesday, the Ministry of Electricity revealed the date and agenda for the visit of its Minister, Majid Mahdi Hantoush, to the Iranian capital, Tehran.
    The spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Moussa, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency, "The visit of the Minister of Electricity, to the Iranian capital, Tehran, is supposed to take place at the beginning of next week, to discuss the implications of the file of reducing the proportion of exported gas to Iraq and resolving it."
