Iraqi forces pledge to close all gaps at the borders of Syria

The Joint Operations Command in Iraq announced that it intends to close all gaps on the borders with Syria that benefit ISIS members within the next two months.
The spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, Major General Tahsin Al-Khafaji, said during a press conference held today, Saturday, that the Iraqi security forces are adopting a "tactical method based on decentralization" in carrying out operations against the remnants of "ISIS."
He continued: "The Operations Command is working with the International Coalition by receiving modern equipment to monitor the Iraqi-Syrian borders and prevent violations and infiltration of terrorist elements. All gaps in the Syrian borders will be closed within the next two months."
