The Foreign Ministry said in a statement, received by Alsumaria News, that the minister "arrived today, Monday, to the Qatari capital, Doha, to attend two consultative and emergency meetings of Arab foreign ministers, where the meeting came at the request of the host State of Qatar due to its presidency of the current session of the League Council."
According to the statement, "the meeting will discuss various Arab issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue, its recent developments, the truce frameworks in the Gaza Strip, and the developments of the Renaissance Dam file."
The ministry indicated, "It is hoped that Fuad Hussein will hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the meeting with Qatari officials and Arab foreign ministers to discuss a number of common files."
