    Baghdad - IQ

The White House said, on Wednesday (June 23, 2021), that blocking news websites and satellite channels "linked to Iran", including an Iraqi one, is a decision of the US Department of Justice and has nothing to do with the nuclear negotiations.

Yesterday, the US Department of Justice blocked the websites of satellite channels from Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen and Palestine.

The blocked Iraqi websites are the websites of “Asia”, “Al-Naeem”, “Al-Ishraq”, “Afaaq”, “Karbala”, “Al-Anwar”, “Al-Massar Al-Oula” and “Al-Sirat” channels, in addition to the “Al-Maloma” and “Kaf” websites. ".

As for the websites of the non-Iraqi channels that were blocked by the US Department of Justice, they are the Iranian “Al-Alam”, “Al-Kawthar” and “Al-Naba” channels, and the Yemeni “Al-Masirah” channel, in addition to the “Palestine Today Channel.” The Pearl channel.

The US authorities accuse these sites and channels of spreading "misleading information".
