, the Electoral Commission issued, on Wednesday, three new decisions related to the upcoming elections.
The Commission stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, a copy of it, that "in line with the transparency criterion that guarantees the integrity of the electoral process, and based on Article (38/Seventh) of the Elections Law No. (9) of 2020, the Board of Commissioners decided first: to provide political party agents Candidates with a copy of the results announcement accelerator report prior to the VSAT transmission process.
The statement added, "The second decision is to provide the agents of political parties and candidates with a copy of the results and ballot papers for each station registered on the memory stick before the communication with the medium (VSAT) and the electronic network, and after the encryption is opened by the Commission's software for that."
As for the third decision, according to the statement, it stipulated “the adoption of a manual lottery in selecting and determining the station on which the manual counting and sorting process will take place inside the polling station.” Ended 29/A43
