Ministry of Planning: 2.7 million employees registered on the job number platform

The Ministry of Planning announced, on Saturday, the number of employees registered on the job number platform, and while it identified the platform’s functions and importance, it confirmed that its management’s link with the ministry will be temporary.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Planning, Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi, said that "the number of employees registered on the job number platform exceeded two million and 700 thousand employees," stressing that "work is still continuing, and there are ongoing meetings by the Diwaniyah Order Committee 55 headed by the head of the Central Statistics Authority and under the supervision of The Minister of Planning," according to "Ana"
Al-Hindawi added that "the committee's work continues until the completion of this platform, in which the data of all Iraqi state employees will be entered," noting that "there is good coordination with the Ministry of Interior in the context of completing the biometric information or data for Iraqi state employees by relying on the existing database. He pointed out that "the current trend is towards enumerating state employees who do not have a unified national card and issuing it to them in order to complete all their biometric database, which will be linked to the job number platform project."
He explained that "the importance of this project relates to several aspects, including determining the operational financial expenditure paths for Iraqi state employees after the ministry has accurate and complete numbers of state employees," noting that "the project will paint a clear picture of the functional body in the Iraqi government and the need for competencies and knowledge of locations. He stressed that "the platform will be very important and salaries will be linked to it after its completion," noting that "the platform's connection to the Ministry of Planning is temporary, and it will be managed after it is completed in the future by the Federal Service Council, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, or any other related party."
