    Shafaq News/ The Turkish Statistical Authority announced on Tuesday that Iraq ranked fourth among the countries importing the most from Turkey in March, indicating a decrease in exports and imports by 4.1% and 6.3%, respectively, in March 2024.
    The authority stated, in its report, viewed by Shafaq News Agency: “Exports amounted to 22 billion 571 million dollars, a decrease of 4.1%, while imports amounted to 29 billion 912 million dollars, a decrease of 6.3% compared to March 2023.”
    She added, "Germany is the main export partner country with one billion and 749 million dollars, followed by Italy second with one billion and 288 million dollars, then the United States third with one billion and 804 million dollars, followed by Iraq fourth with one billion and 189 million dollars, and the UAE came fifth with one billion and 172 million dollars." dollars,” indicating that “the proportion of the first five countries in total exports reached 29.5% in March 2024.”
    Iraq imports most goods, merchandise, and foodstuffs from neighboring countries, especially Turkey and Iran, and to a lesser extent from the Arab Gulf countries and Jordan.
