Shafaq News/ An informed government source revealed, on Thursday, an investigation conducted by the office of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to identify an employee who leaked a document related to the Baghdad Conference, which was hosted by the Iraqi capital last August.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "An investigation was opened with the employees of the Prime Minister's Office regarding the circumstances of the leakage of a book issued by him that includes allocating an amount of three billion Iraqi dinars from the emergency budget to cover the expenses of the Baghdad Conference for Partnership and Cooperation."
The source pointed out that "the investigations showed that the book had been leaked by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers," explaining that "the investigation is still ongoing to find out the employee who leaked and published the book in the media."
Following the conclusion of the "Cooperation and Partnership" conference, which was hosted by the capital, Baghdad on August 28, with the participation of nine countries, a special document was spread through social media that showed the expenses and expenses of the conference, which according to the document amounted to (7,500,000,000) billion Iraqi dinars, taken from the budget of the Prime Minister ( 4,500,000,000) billion dinars, and from the emergency reserve surplus from oil sales, 3 billion dinars.
