The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, directed the Army Chief of Staff to make changes in "important" positions.
According to a document signed by the Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army, Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Yarallah, it was decided to transfer Major General Fayez Fadel Ahmed Al-Maamouri from the position of Director of the Military Intelligence Directorate, to the Army Chief of Staff.
Major General Zaid Hoshi Khalaf Wadi was transferred from the position of Assistant Director of the Military Intelligence Directorate to the position of Director of the Military Intelligence Directorate.
