The Ministry of Planning announced, on Tuesday, that there has been a decrease in real estate prices during the past three years.
Ministry spokesman Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi said in a press interview, which was followed by the "National News Center", that "during the past three years, there have been noticeable construction movements from the government and the private sector for residential complexes."
He continued, "This has an impact on lower prices, as there are new housing complexes that increase the percentage of units offered in the market, and therefore it is certain that the supply contributes to lower prices."
