Coordination framework: We will go out to demand the annulment of the election results..and the factions threaten those who stand in the way of the demonstrators
A member of the General Authority of the Wisdom Movement, Fahd al-Jubouri, said in a statement to Shafak News Agency; The blocs affiliated with the coordination framework that was formed after the announcement of the preliminary results of the elections that took place on the tenth of this October, discussed during its meeting yesterday, the house of (Al-Hakim) a number of issues related to the electoral issue and the issue of challenging the preliminary results announced by the Electoral Commission. We have sufficient evidence that It will be presented to the concerned authorities that prove that external parties are standing with the complicity of internal parties to overthrow and exclude important Shiite parties that have political and public weight in the country, in addition to the existence of records revealing these schemes, awaiting what the higher authorities concerned with deciding on the official appeals submitted to it will decide.
Al-Jubouri added, "We are waiting for what the Commission will decide about the appeals, otherwise we will take the official legal methods in that," noting that "the masses of blocs and lists affiliated with the coordination framework will come out next week with large demonstrations to demand their rights, as their electoral entitlements were confiscated by confiscating their votes and excluding their electoral representatives."
Regarding the statements of the coordination framework that threaten civil peace or societal harmony, he said, "What we have mentioned has the rights of our voters, avoiding their anger, preserving their rights, and not destabilizing the voter with his political symbols, and it may result in peaceful protests by our popular bases."
It is noteworthy that the National Forces Alliance includes both the Wisdom Movement led by al-Hakim, along with the victory coalition led by former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, who won five parliamentary seats, including two for victory, during the participation of their alliance in the recent elections.
In context; The Coordination of the Armed Factions threatened to resort to fighting if the demonstrators who reject the election results are harmed.
The coordination said in a statement received by Shafak News Agency; "The Iraqi resistance was and will remain an impenetrable dam against all malicious projects targeting our proud people, and confirms that the Iraqis have the right to protest against all those who oppressed them, refused to submit to their demands, and confiscated their rights."
The statement added; "We warn strongly that any attempt to attack or prejudice the dignity of our people in defending their rights and preserving their sacred mobilization, as well as the expulsion of foreign forces from their country, will be confronted with men whose hearts are like cast iron, and they experienced their suffering when they were defeated."
