Najaf Friday sermon: Iraq does not need foreign military bases or 5,000 advisors

In his political sermon for Friday prayers today in Najaf, Al-Qabbanji asked about the possibility of withdrawing the estimated forces of five thousand American soldiers, and about the fate of their equipped bases and the survival of those forces for the purpose of training and advice, and did the coalition forces help in fighting ISIS and where were they when they entered ISIS?
Al-Qabbanji stressed that Iraq is able to protect itself and has protected itself from the internationally backed ISIS forces.
He added: Iraq is not Afghanistan, as it possesses many elements of power and has the power of its people and its reference.
On the political movement, the Imam of the Najaf Friday prayer welcomed the meetings of the Shiite House.
Al-Qabbanji extended his thanks to the heads of the blocs and to Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr, referring to the meetings of the Shiite House that bring happiness to the Shiites of the Ahl al-Bayt and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him), and that God descends his mercy and blessings on such meetings.
He said: We are waiting for them to agree and decide what is in the interest of the country.
On the other hand, and on a separate matter, and about the centenary of the founding of the Iraqi state, Al-Qabbanji said, that this means to us that Iraq is a sovereign, independent state and has a people capable of managing itself
