The King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, congratulated, on Tuesday (December 14, 2021), on the occasion of the centenary of the establishment of the modern Iraqi state.
Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, who gave the speech on behalf of King, said in a video clip that was received by IQ News , "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the leadership and people, is pleased to share with the dear people of Iraq and its sisterly leadership this occasion, marking a century since the founding of the modern state of Iraq." History does not stand witness to Iraq's cultural and civilizational role throughout the ages, as the banks of the Tigris and Euphrates were the cradles of ancient civilizations and diverse cultures.
Bin Farhan added that "this anniversary passes on the people of Iraq, and they have achieved many achievements, the most important of which is the great victory over the terrorist organization ISIS, working to develop state institutions, strengthening its regional and international relations, and working to restore Iraq's position and role in the regional and Arab environment."
