    The Ministry of Transport / the General Company for Ports of Iraq received today, Monday, two ships and an oil tanker docked at the berths of the northern and southern Umm Qasr port.
    The Director General of Ports, Dr. Eng. Farhan Al-Fartousi, said in a statement received by the National News Center: “The company enjoys a prestigious level at the regional level because it employs its human expertise and production capabilities to develop and strengthen Iraq’s ports,” referring to “the direction of the Minister of Transport, Captain Nasser Al-Shibli, for dedication and employing all capabilities.” To attract global shipping companies.
    The Director-General added that "the berths of the northern Umm Qasr port received two commercial ships loaded with containers of various sizes. At the same time, the southern port of Umm Qasr received an oil tanker that was supplied with more than (1800) tons of aviation fuel, through train cars for petroleum products, and work is underway in The berths for docking and taking off ships and tankers in cooperation and coordination between the two port administrations and maritime operations.”
