Al-Halbousi's alliance is armed with a "political paper" to enter government formation talks
Shafaq News/ A coalition led by Muhammad al-Halbousi announced, on Monday, the preparation of a "political paper" that includes his vision and ideas, indicating his intention to present it to the political partners.
The coalition said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, "The leadership of the Progress Alliance held, today, Monday, a meeting to discuss the coalition's vision during the next stage and the latest developments in the political process in the country."
He added, "The most prominent decisions of the meeting were that the coalition prepare a political paper that will be presented to the political partners and includes the coalition's vision and ideas in managing the state, the results of which are positively reflected on the Iraqi citizen and the spectrum of the people in general, and on the liberated areas that have suffered a lot in several files during the previous stages."
The meeting also stressed, according to the statement, "the call to adhere to the constitutional timings, starting with the approval of the election results and passing through the convening of the Council in its fifth session and the formation of a government capable of meeting the aspirations of citizens, as well as emphasizing that any delay in these timings will reflect negatively on the political process and the Iraqi street, and empty the early elections." of its content, which the people had demanded.
