The Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Sabah Al-Khaled, announced the opening of the Abdali border crossing with Iraq, stressing that this decision comes with the aim of increasing trade exchange between the two countries.
Al-Khaled confirmed, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas, in its issue yesterday, Thursday, that "the opening of the Abdali port will start from next week," stressing the need for "continued coordination with Iraq to secure the borders."
