It does not mean retracting Zebari's support.. He is close to him: Al-Sadr's tweet is its goal
Shafaq News/ A source close to the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, confirmed today, Friday, that al-Sadr's tweet regarding the nomination of the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Hoshyar Zebari, does not mean withdrawing al-Sadr to support this nomination.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "Al-Sadr, through a tweet, wanted to show that there were no suspicions on the part of the competent authorities against Zebari, especially his candidacy was checked by more than one regulatory authority, and it is free of any files with these regulatory authorities."
And he indicated that "the directive was issued to the Sadrist bloc, by voting exclusively for the candidate for the presidency of the Republic, Hoshyar Zebari, and there is no change in this position, and his call to the deputies comes that their support for Zebari is confirmation that there is no real file condemning him, so he does not want any suspicions against the new president and the Sadrist bloc, after the vote." It will be at a meeting next Monday.

Al-Sadr wrote in a tweet on Twitter, which was followed by Shafak News Agency; "If the candidate of the ally of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - rather an absolute - for the presidency of the republic does not meet the conditions, I call on the reform representatives not to vote for him," referring to each candidate who did not meet the conditions according to Al-Sadr's vision.
Al-Sadr added in his tweet; We are advocates of reform, not advocates of authority and rule.
