[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, announced that the obstacles that Iraq faced at the level of water and the problems that afflicted the agricultural sector due to terrorism and supporting the marshes are among the files discussed by
the FAO conference.
While chairing the dialogue session of the FAO Regional Conference, today, Monday, the Minister stressed the need to achieve food security and promote joint action to reach self-sufficiency and sustainable agricultural development, indicating that the conference will be a major turning point in terms of supporting Iraq and its international agricultural reality through the conclusion of agreements related to improving livelihoods and providing Food and infrastructure rehabilitation for agricultural projects, as well as support for rural communities and women working in agricultural fields, manufacturing industries, both plant and animal, in addition to agricultural cooperation at the regional level and creating effective investment and marketing opportunities for the coming years.
Al-Khafaji explained, according to a statement by the Ministry of Agriculture, that the obstacles that Iraq faced at the water level, and some of the problems that afflicted the agricultural sector due to terrorism, and support for the marshes and dry areas, as well as finding advanced production and marketing formulas, are among the important files that are discussed during the conference, as well as Seeing global agricultural experiences and employing them for the benefit of Iraqi agriculture to be a vital and mature factor towards the advancement of the agricultural sector, the employment of labor and the cessation of adverse migration, as the conference is a historic event, especially during these stages that Iraq is experiencing towards openness to the agriculturally and nutritionally developed world. / End 2[/rtl]
