Does Iraq raise an international protest note against Iran?

    Ultra Iraq - Editorial Team
The internal reactions to the Iranian missile attack on the city of Erbil continue, pending a new government move after summoning the Iranian ambassador and directing an investigation committee into Tehran's claim about the target site.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Iraq will act in light of the results of an investigation conducted by a government committee
A high-ranking government delegation headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi visited the sites of the attack in Erbil, calling on the Iranian leadership to provide evidence of the existence of a Mossad center in the city.
In turn, Foreign Minister Fayed Hussein said, "The position of the Iraqi ministry is clear. We issued a circular and condemned the attack, and the ministry summoned the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad, and delivered him a message that this attack is not acceptable. The Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior (and I with them) had a visit to the accident site.

Hussein confirmed in a statement, "The location of the accident is known. It is the house of an Iraqi Kurdish businessman. It is well-known and many people visited the house," noting that "the news that talked about the place as an Israeli base, is far from the truth and is not true."
The minister indicated that Iraq is trying to deal with the issue "by diplomatic means and through our relations with Iran, because Iran is our neighbor and the relations between Iraq and Iran are very close and good. We inform them of our opinion through diplomatic means."
Hussein continued, "A team will come and conduct investigations, an Iraqi security and military team, and the team will submit its report to the Iraqi government, and in light of that report, we will re-examine the issue with Iran. We hope that such incidents will not be repeated, because in fact they represent a danger to the people of the region and to the sovereignty of Iraq." Iran itself says we are friends of Iraq, and we do not want to be in conflict with Iraq.
Hussein warned, by saying, "Iraq and Iran have a bitter experience in the issue of war. It is not permissible to solve problems by means of missiles and with the logic of missiles. We must have a dialogue and the door to dialogue is open, and God willing, we will conduct this dialogue with the Iranian side soon," while denying his knowledge of a previous Iranian alert about The presence of Israeli groups in Erbil.
The minister said, "If Iran has evidence of an Israeli base in Erbil, it should provide the Iraqi federal government with this evidence to verify it," adding that "a committee from Baghdad will investigate this allegation."
Regarding Al-Kazemi's opinion on the incident, Hussein indicated, "His opinion was clear, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will issue a statement representing the prime minister's opinion."
Hussein refused, considering the Iranian prosecution "rumors to target Kurdistan," noting, "We are not talking about rumors, but if they have incorrect information, we must correct it. The information in this regard is incorrect. We must tell them that this information is not accurate and not correct".

Hussein confirmed that the government will hold a meeting these days, in response to a question about Iraq's intention to file a complaint against Iran with the United Nations, noting that "the meeting will be devoted to knowing the report of the committee that is dispatched from Baghdad, and in light of that report, we will start to move."
The minister denied that there was an intention to open an international investigation into the attack, "because the matter concerns Iraq."
