For the second day, the central bank's dollar sales decreased
The economic correspondent in Shafak News Agency stated that the Central Bank witnessed, during its auction for the sale and purchase of the US dollar, today, a decrease in its sales by 5.19 percent, to reach 201 million and 153 thousand and 180 US dollars, covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday. Wednesday, which sales amounted to 212 million and 988 thousand and 795 dollars.
He added that foreign remittances during today's auction amounted to 154 million and 653 thousand and 180 dollars, compared to cash sales, which amounted to 56 million and 350 thousand dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that 28 banks have met requests to enhance balances abroad, and 14 banks have responded to cash requests, in addition to 195 mediation companies.
