    The Muthanna Investment Commission announced today, Friday, the establishment of an industrial complex in the province that contains specifications for the first time to enter Iraq.
    The consultant in the Muthanna Investment Authority, Mahmoud Hadi Radi, said, in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Chinese Venusia Industrial Investments Company has started its first investment work in the industrial axis in the Najmi district, north of Muthanna, to implement the first phase of high-quality porcelain and ceramic factories." 
    He added, "The company has started the work of leveling the soil and establishing a group of advanced factories for the production of ceramics and porcelain, in addition to a factory for packing cartons, as a first stage out of a total of four stages to complete a multi-purpose complex with an electric power plant, with the aim of covering the local market's need and exporting products with international standard specifications."
    He pointed out that "the complex is located on an area of ​​300 acres in the Najmi industrial axis, and according to the executive plan of the Venusia company, the project is a complex consisting of a number of production factories, technical, marketing and administrative services, and is implemented in four overlapping phases."
    He pointed out that "the project is a qualitative leap at the level of technologies, production methods, qualitative specifications and pioneering objectives, as the project will include the construction of the world's longest kiln for the production of porcelain with a length of (one kilometer) and the installation of 12 presses with a capacity of 4350 tons / minute per press, with specifications for the first Once you enter Iraq.
    And he indicated, "Venusia plans to distribute its products at a rate of 40 percent in the local markets, and 60 percent for export," stressing that "the establishment of the industrial complex in Al-Muthanna is a pioneering step in the industry and an increase in the proportion of local components in inputs, trade, export, transport and employment opportunities, and it will put the Muthanna Governorate On the industrial map and distinguished production reputation nationally and regionally.
