The Kurdistan Democratic Party's parliamentary bloc recalled, on Saturday, the anniversary of the martyrdom of Mr. Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and his sister, noting that it coincided with the fall of Saddam's regime, "a non-arbitrary heavenly timing."
The bloc's spokeswoman, Vian Dakhil, said in a tweet on Twitter, which was followed by Mawazine News, that "the fall of the dictatorial regime coincided with the anniversary of its heinous crime, with the execution of Mr. Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and his mujahid sister Bint al-Huda, an arbitrary celestial timing that reinforces the idea that the people are stronger than tyrants."
