, Member of Parliament Ahmed Al-Rubaie confirmed, on Monday, that there is no movement on the ground to launch a new salary scale for employees.
Al-Rubaie said in an interview with the official news agency, Mawazine News, that "there are many appeals to parliament members regarding the issue of launching a new salary scale for employees to address the differences."
He added, "Some deputies, as a result of these appeals, submit communications to the concerned authorities and give notice to the presidency of the Council in order for the issue to be adopted and discussed seriously."
He stressed, "So far, there is nothing on the ground in the House of Representatives about it, or its official adoption, or the collection of signatures, or other such matters." Ended 29/N33
