    Alsumaria News - Baghdad
The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee condemned today, Wednesday, the repeated attacks by Turkish forces on Iraqi territory, while stressing the need for the Turkish government to respect Iraq's sovereignty.

The committee said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, "The repetition of Turkish attacks in the same pattern is evidence of the aggressor force's insistence on adopting the approach of aggression, and the Turkish government should respect Iraq's sovereignty and not make it an arena for conflict and settling its accounts in an internal issue in Iraqi territory."

The statement added, "We reject any flimsy arguments by Ankara to justify the expansion of its military activities and its aggression against Iraq, and we consider this a blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty, and it clearly indicates the extent of Turkish ambitions and the goals of hostile and provocative operations."
