The hardest person in the world to lead will
always be yourself. Human nature seems to give us the ability to
size up everybody except ourselves. After having a victorious Goliath
experience, followed by a devastating Bathsheba experience, the
Psalmist wrote, ‘Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and
know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life’ (vv.23-24 NLT).
We judge others according to their actions, while
we tend to judge ourselves according to our intentions. When we do
the wrong thing, we let ourselves off the hook because we believe our
motives were good. And the problem is; we are usually willing to do
that over and over before requiring ourselves to change!

    Good for you.....

Remember this too though it will save everyone a lot of anguish, your works and deeds will always fall short of perfection, the good news though is that perfection has been gifted to the believer.

Paul by the holy Ghost said:

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven ...

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Now isn't that a freeing and edifying message?

When you understand this message, then you begin to understand what the Lord Jesus taught the Pharisee religious leader," he who is forgiven of much loves much..." All one can do after that revelation is become eternally thankful for his Mercy upon the believers life. It also makes you walk in expectation, puts a spring your step. Now you're ready to slay Goliath.
