The Directorate of Yazidi Survivors Affairs in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced its intention to register the survivors to include them in salaries and benefits, as stipulated by the relevant law, after approving the emergency support law and allocating a supportive budget to the Directorate.

The director general of the directorate, Sarab Elias, said that "the emergency support law allocated 25 billion dinars to the directorate to serve as an investment and operational budget for the salaries of employees and rent allowances for the directorate's headquarters in the governorates affected by terrorism."

Elias pointed out that "the salaries of the Yazidi female survivors and other components will be in the form of meals, after the survivors pass through the authentication mechanism to enter the database to pay their salaries," adding that "the female survivors residing outside Iraq will be included in the salary database, as we insisted on launching An electronic window to communicate with them or through the Iraqi embassies.

And she continued, "The directorate will tour a number of countries to communicate with survivors, activate certain programs, see their needs, and coordinate with organizations and governments in these countries," explaining that "ISIS children from Yazidis are not covered by the law of survivors, and they cannot be included in any privilege because the law did not address that".
