He added, "The most fortunate is the candidate of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, with the continuation of negotiations with the National Union Party to go to the House of Representatives with one candidate, because what the Democratic leader Massoud Barzani confirmed is that the Kurdish component will have one candidate, and we are not greedy for positions in Baghdad, but this is an electoral entitlement for the component." Kurdish," he said.
And he indicated that "there are three principles confirmed by Barzani: partnership, consensus and balance, and that we go to form the government in accordance with these principles, and all political blocs of framework, determination and sovereignty adhere to them through their joint statements, and we will go with the Kurdish delegation and the Democratic Party to Baghdad to form the next government and agree on one candidate." to the Presidency of the Republic in this session.
He explained that "written agreements that guarantee all parties will be adhered to by members of the House of Representatives, which will be announced in a few days by the Democratic Party and other parties, in addition to the coordination framework that became the largest bloc after the withdrawal of the Sadrist movement."
For his part, the political analyst, Talib Muhammad Karim, told "Al-Sabah" that "the alliances between the framework and the Kurdish parties, specifically (Al-Party), as well as with the sovereignty; They all serve common interests, and these alliances make clear that there are largely understandings for a new formulation of the issue of oil and gas and companies operating in the Kurdistan region, and the division of the budget in percentages regarding the region’s share, all of which are subject to understandings in order to overcome the obstruction phase experienced by the political process, and the agreement On new formulas for consensus on the name of the next prime minister.
