    The Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control of the Ministry of Planning confirmed, on Sunday, that the Kurdistan Region is not committed to examining the goods imported into the country, and the failure to implement the national system for quality control on goods.

    He pointed out that "the work of these companies is the pre-examination and issuance of a certificate in the country of origin of the imported goods, which are audited by the offices of those companies at the border crossings, as well as the presence of strict control by the staff of the agency on the validity and accuracy of information in the documents and reports of examinations."
    He continued, "When the certificate issued in the country of origin is matched, a release document is issued to it confirming the validity and accuracy of the information in the certificate, and it is considered a document for the progress of the customs transaction, noting that there is an electronic network (IT) between the offices of companies, customs and the Border Ports Authority to follow up the accuracy of the certificate and release documents. “. finished/25
