Shafaq News/ The Saudi Crown Prince, Muhammad bin Salman, stressed on Saturday the importance of uniting efforts to support the global economy, and facing the major challenges facing the regional region and the world.
Bin Salman said in his speech during the Jeddah Summit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of US President Joe Biden, and the presidents of Iraq, Egypt, Jordan and Qatar, "There is a need to unite efforts to support the global economy, and we meet today at a time when the region and the world are facing great challenges."
"We need more international efforts to confront the challenges," he added, noting that "the completion of the security and stability system in the region requires finding solutions to the crises experienced by countries."
He pointed out that "the exclusion of the main sources of energy is unrealistic and will lead to a significant increase in prices."
"We announced an increase in production capacity to 13 million barrels per day, after which the kingdom will not have any additional capacity to increase," bin Salman added.
He stressed that "Iran should cooperate to establish peace with the countries of the region and abide by international resolutions," adding, "We are seeking a just and political solution to the Yemeni issue."
And he added, "We want this summit to lead to a strategy between the countries of the region and the United States," noting that there is "a remarkable development in Iraq and we encourage more."
The Saudi Crown Prince concluded by saying that "adopting unrealistic policies by excluding major energy sources will lead to unprecedented inflation in global markets," expressing his hope that this summit will establish a new era of strategic partnership between the countries of the region and the United States of America.
