    Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali al-Hakim met with Tunisian Foreign Minister Khamis Jahnawi. 
    The two sides discussed issues of the region and bilateral cooperation between Baghdad and Tunisia. The meeting also focused on the most important issues that will be discussed at the Islamic and Arab summits. 
    The minister briefed his counterpart on the movements of Iraq in the Arab region and the regional environment, stressing that Iraq today has a weight in the region and that the countries of the world continue to cooperate with him in the fields of development and support of bilateral trade, stressing the importance of coordinating efforts to achieve calm and flexible handling of files On the agenda of the summit, or through bilateral meetings. 
    This came in the context of the two Islamic summits, and the two emergency Arab countries which are conducting their work in Mecca.

    (Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali Al-Hakim arrived in Jeddah to participate in the preparatory foreign ministers' meeting for the 14th session of the Islamic Summit Conference.
    The preparatory meeting to prepare for the fourteenth session of the Islamic Summit, which will be hosted by Mecca on the 31st of this month, as well as the extraordinary Arab summit on the thirtieth of this month is 
    also expected to discuss a number of regional and international issues of interest to Islamic countries, Islamic common. 
    It is worth mentioning that the Minister will accompany the President of the Republic at the Arab and Islamic Summits

    A Foreign Ministry statement said that its minister, Mohamed Ali al-Hakim, met Tunisian Foreign Minister Khamis al-Jahnawi.
    The two sides discussed the issues of the region and the cooperation between Baghdad and Tunisia. The meeting also focused on the most important issues that will be discussed at the Islamic and Arab summits.
    The minister briefed his Tunisian counterpart on the movements of Iraq in the Arab region and the regional environment, stressing that Iraq today has a weight in the region and that the countries of the world continue to cooperate with him in the fields of development and support of bilateral trade.
    He stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to achieve calm, flexible handling of the issues on the agenda of the summit, or through bilateral meetings.
    The statement pointed out that the meeting between al-Hakim and al-Jahnawi took place in the context of the Islamic and Arab summits that are taking place in Mecca.

    Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim on Thursday discussed with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi the activation of joint Arab action in facing challenges.
    "Al-Hakim met Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and discussed bilateral cooperation frameworks and the importance of raising the momentum of strategic coordination, both in terms of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Amman, and regional and international issues," the ministry said in a statement. 
    "The two ministers exchanged views on means of activating the joint Arab action in facing challenges, enhancing stability in the region and priorities of the next phase in the light of the Islamic and Arab summits that are going on in Mecca," the statement added.
