A member of the State of Law Coalition, Haider al-Lami, responded to the news that the head of the Fatah Alliance Hadi al-Amiri had sent a message to the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, through Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, noting that “the coordinating framework will not be disintegrated, and it will remain unified until its main demand is achieved.” “.

Al-Lami said about the initiative or launch of a delegation from the coordination framework to Al-Hanana to meet with the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada Al-Sadr, that "there is no such thing, and we did not address this issue in the State of Law coalition."

Al-Lami does not believe that the coming period will witness any visits between the State of Law coalition and the leader of the Sadrist movement, with the aim of talks to form a government, adding that "there is nothing new in this regard."

As for the issue of forming the government and alliances in this regard, Al-Lami saw that the independents are “weak people who cannot change the equation. They are not Massoud Barzani until they change the equation, and they are simple. Destiny put them on the path of politics, as they went out in demonstrations and things happened and they became politicians.”

A member of the State of Law coalition, noted that this issue “needs a great experienced politician with internal and external international relations, influence on others and their trust in him, not that he does not know what the issue is, and is reluctant to be with any party, and does not know the decisions he takes, And what will it entail to be a pivotal player in changing the political process.”

Regarding the news of Hadi al-Amiri’s message to Muqtada al-Sadr through Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi that al-Amiri, al-Hakim, al-Abadi and the rest of the Shiite parties will go to the opposition, in exchange for al-Maliki to go with al-Sadr in forming the government, al-Lami said that “this request is present by al-Sadr, previously, he said that I enter With al-Maliki in the government, and you go to the opposition,” stressing that the framework “will not disintegrate, and he will remain and unite until his main demand is achieved, which is the most numerous Shiite bloc, so there is no change in this position.”

It is noteworthy that the blocking third in the House of Representatives (the coordination framework, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and some independents) prevented the election of a president.

Following the deadline of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, for the coordination framework to form the government, in which the latter did not succeed, al-Sadr called on all independent representatives to join the largest bloc to form an independent government within 15 days.

The coordination framework had denied the rumors about part of it going with the Triple Alliance to form the next government.

The coordination framework issued a clarification on Thursday (May 12, 2022), in which it confirmed that “the news reported by some social media sites and media platforms that part of the coordination framework with the tripartite coalition to form the government has gone is untrue,” again publishing this news “aims to mislead opinion.” and influence on the audience of the framework and on its unity and cohesion.”
