    Baghdad (newsletter).. Secretary Baghdad, Naim Al-Kaabi aaboub that Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki directed to contract with companies to build low-cost role within the national housing initiative project.  Quoted the Directorate of public relations of Al Kaabi was quoted as saying that "the Prime Minister directed the hiring of specialized firms (20) for the implementation of low-cost buildings within the national housing initiative project, which includes building (50) thousand residential units in Baghdad and 200 thousand residential units in other provinces especially after Baghdad completed the final stages of the project and the agreement with specialized companies and complete the negotiations which resulted in the finalization of the contract '.  He said Baghdad's role to see that project light through specialized committees have chosen the technical specifications required the approval of the Ministry of construction and housing on the designs submitted by the competing companies, especially designs that fit the environment and uses individual Iraqi '. Adding ' eagerness to complete the project, which promised Iraqis to serve the poor, the needy, widows and orphans who have no cut or residential units in Baghdad and the provinces for their dream becomes reality and their decent housing '. 

    The ' housing complexes to be built will be equipped with all the necessary services such as water and sewage, roads, schools, health centres and sports fields, gardens and parks along with commercial and environmental alfaa Yat and other service to the best global designs and specifications. 

    The Prime Minister earlier opened a gallery housing low-cost models, which included more than 34 distinct model involving (26) global company vied with one another in a variety of designs received by professionals in the field of reconstruction and citizens, based on the draft national housing initiative
