A member of the State of Law coalition, Zuhair Chalabi, confirmed today, Friday, that the international community does not want to dissolve the Iraqi parliament in unconstitutional and illegal ways.
Chalabi said in, "The members of the House of Representatives are going towards holding a session, with the need to secure it and specify a place for it."
He added, "The disruption of Parliament had goals after passing the Food Security Law," noting that "the waste of public money is very large and this needs to activate the role of Parliament away from the political process."
Chalabi pointed out that "the parliament session must be held with or without a political agreement to ensure the work of the legislative institution."
