The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the completion of the last steps to launch the eighth meal for more than three hundred thousand families in Baghdad and the provinces.
The head of the Social Protection Authority in the ministry, Sana Al-Moussawi, said that the authority has completed all the steps related to releasing the names of the eighth meal for families that meet the conditions and are included in the authority's database, numbering three hundred thousand families, and within the amount allocated in the emergency food security law, noting that it was directed to achieve justice by distributing Percentages according to each governorate, district and sub-district.
She added, that specialized committees supervised the classification of the categories and their numbers, in preparation for taking the appropriate decision before announcing the names included in the eighth batch, according to the amount allocated to the authority, in order to launch them during the coming period.
Al-Moussawi indicated that it was instructed to expedite the entry of the data of the surveyed families into the electronic system in order to resolve this file.
