, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Salar Abdul Sattar Agency, announced today, Tuesday, the launch of the eighth batch of the amounts covered by social protection, whose results showed that the Ministry of Planning is below the poverty line.
"The number of families sent to the Ministry of Planning amounted to (343954) families, from whom (310789) were received from those who are below the poverty line and they will be included in the subsidy," Abdul Sattar said during a press conference followed by Mawazine News.
He added, "As for the families whose planning results showed that they are above the poverty line, their number has reached (33,159) families, and they have the right to submit an objection to the higher committees in Baghdad and the provinces," noting that "
He added, "The inclusion will be according to the percentage of poverty and the population census in the governorates, and the names of those covered by the eighth meal will be published this evening, corresponding to 20-9-2022, and those covered must wait for a text message that reaches their phones for review according to the schedule that will be announced by the official website of the ministry and the pages of the ministry and the authority exclusively, and it will continue." Receiving citizens over a period of three months to issue a (Key Card) card in cooperation with the International Smart Card Company, urging those included to adhere to the review dates that will be announced weekly.
