    [size=45]President Masoud Barzani received, on Thursday, at the resort of Salah al-Din Mitja Lescovar, the Vatican's ambassador to Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]During the meeting, the Vatican ambassador, on behalf of the Vatican State, strongly condemned the attacks and attacks of the Islamic Republic of Iran on separate areas in the Kurdistan Region, and offered his condolences to President Barzani and the people of Kurdistan for the casualties as a result of those attacks and bombings.[/size]
    [size=45]The Vatican ambassador expressed his appreciation for the position and role of President Barzani in the struggle of the people of Kurdistan and the establishment of peace, as well as his appreciation for the culture of coexistence of the people of Kurdistan, and thanked the people of Kurdistan for embracing hundreds of thousands of displaced people and refugees from various components, especially Christians, in the darkest of days.[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, President Barzani pointed to the depth of the culture of coexistence among the people of Kurdistan, and stressed that the people of Kurdistan will continue to promote this culture, and even if there are some abnormal voices that stand against coexistence, these voices are not accepted by the people of Kurdistan.[/size]
    [size=45]The meeting also witnessed an exchange of views and views on the Iraqi political situation, and President Barzani stressed the need to address Iraq's problems on the basis of dialogue and the constitution.[/size]
    [size=45]In conclusion, the Vatican ambassador thanked the people of Kurdistan and the region's institutions for receiving and hosting His Holiness the Pope, and on this occasion he presented a special gift to President Barzani.[/size]
